Hello, readers -
I’d like to take a moment on this cold evening (cold in Seoul, anyway ) to welcome three new members to our editorial board.
Michael Shirzadian, a student at Cedarville University in Ohio, will be serving as assistant editor.
Zachary Sanderson, a student at Bradley University in Illinois, will also be serving as assistant editor.
Finally, Cleveland native Steve Fladda will be serving as editor-at-large. Steve is a talented writer; he resides in Germany, where he’s working in a missionary/humanitarian capacity.
It’s an exciting time at ExPatLit.com. Please take a few minutes to review the site, to submit your creative work, and to offer any constructive suggestions you might have.

In recent days, I’ve added several new features to ExPatLit.com, including – obviously – this blog, and a description of our editorial process. Take a minute to review these changes; shoot me an e-mail with any suggestions you have for ways to make the site more functional as we anticipate the first edition of the ExPatLit.com online literary review.
Speaking of: the submissions deadline for the Spring 2009 issue is March 15. If you have any travel- or expatriate-themed stories, essays, or poems which you’d like to share, please feel free to submit - and encourage any talented friends to submit their work as well.
